Privacy
What it reads
Only messages that mention the bot and its commands, in channels where a moderator turned it on with /setup. If a moderator turns on listening mode in a channel (announced there first), it reads every message in that channel to follow the conversation. It never reads direct messages. Members can opt out of listening with /privacy.
What goes to the AI provider
To write a reply, the relevant recent messages and any image or file (PDF, text) attached to the question are sent to Anthropic. If you share a link and ask about it, the page is opened by Anthropic's servers (servers can turn this off). If a server turns on web search, search queries based on the conversation go to Anthropic's search service.
How long it is kept
Messages: 24 hours by default; each server can choose from 1 hour to 7 days. Images and files are not stored. Memories: only when you ask, up to 30 days. Usage records (counts and costs, no text): 30 days.
How to delete
/forget-me erases everything you have shared, in every server. /forget deletes one memory, and /memories lists yours privately. Deleting a Discord message usually deletes it from the bot too. Removing the bot from a server deletes that server's stored messages and memories.
The dashboard
Server admins see settings, counts and costs on this website, never message content.
